I was once the anti-cheat lead developer (as in "the only guy in that team") for the "Electronic Sports League", which was (and hopefully still is) the biggest e-sports league in the world.
Employed by the parent company, Turtle Entertainment in Cologne, I wrote a simple anti-cheat tool, back in 2005, called "Aequitas" which developed into a full blown anti-cheat system consisting of strongly obfuscated, dynamically loaded and sometimes hidden ring3 (user-mode) and ring0 (kernel modules aka system driver) modules. We detected most public hacks, many private hacks and also some custom hacks and banned players
continuously by fingerprinting their hardware. Then I failed to "step up my game" and Turtle Entertainment and I parted ways.
Some time later I reoriented and did some development for a local logistics company and in the music entertainment industry, until I finally settled for FutureTV here in Rostock.
Now I mostly do stuff in Java, TypeScript and have solid background in big data technologies.

I'm also co-creator and DJ of "Seifenblasenmanifest" and the local host and DJ of "HÖRSTURZ", two local series of events with many hundred visitors.

National televison personality Jumbo Schreiner once called me a "poor light" on the Internet. (True story!)

When I'm grown up, I want to build rockets.
